Below is the image of where I got my inspiration for my two page spread. I enjoyed this layout because the text was the most important part of the spread. It is almost as if the text is drawing a picture itself. I also took Suzanne's advice about not having to show an entire view of something, but focusing on a particular part and zooming in.

I really like your composition. You really took the layout and made it your own but it still show similar characteristics.
