These are all thumbnail drawings of the right side of the first floor of Foust.
After scanning, they are now a little out of order...

GATEWAY PROJECT

I don't even know...

When I first tried to upload this pic, it said error, "Your image is corrupt or is in an unrecognized format." I believe that adequately describes this picture. It was a five minute drawing that was supposed to only use five lines to draw someone. For what ever reason I was compelled to use just one, terrible, terrible line, and maybe one more line for the neck and lips.
In case you can't tell, this is Leslie. ha

Presentation Board

Our assignment for both our drawing class and history and theory of design class was to create a presentation board focused around one interior detail of a structure we had studied. Everything had to be drawn and composed on a 18 x 24 board. The detail I chose was a column in the Hypostyle Hall in the temple of Amon.

Vertical Moments of Light

For this project we were each assigned a window in which we were supposed to create a window structure that would create two different light affects. We had to use cardboard and were allowed to use two other materials if we wanted. Our windows were supposed to relate to the neighboring windows, so me and my closest surrounding members decided to team up and work together. Below is a a picture of the final result and my personal window.

(the sunset provides a nice glow on the surface)

Below is a picture of our first model. We had originally left two sides of the box open to allow more light and had played around with cutting out different shapes. This first model however was not particularly well crafted as it was held together by tape and was extremely bowed. By closing all sides of the box except for the back, it made the structure sturdier and allowed us to simply stack the boxes without using any sort of bonding agent.

Below is an image from SketchUp.

Ritual Object

For my ritual object, I chose my digital camera. The pictures below are of a adjustable camera stand I created from ply wood. Because my camera was my ritual object, that is what I took these pictures with, so I was unable to get a shot of how everything comes together. So I will take someone else's camera captive and post more pictures here shortly.

Vignettes

In this assignment we had to draw somewhat larger objects and scale figures with much personality to interact with the larger objects. Again using watercolors to enhance the drawings.

This last one is the first one I drew, but I chose not to include water colors. I thought I would post it anyways.

Wearable Watercolors

For this assignment we had to draw three accessories of our friends along with the part of body that the accessories were on and use watercolor. I am not pleased with how mine came out. The watercolors kept smearing, and when I attempted to use colored pencil with watercolors, it just looked messy.
